"NanoNow" showcases Tech Valley as one of the world's rapidly expanding technology areas, led by CNSE's next-generation educational curriculum – recognized by Small Times magazine in May 2007 as number one in the world for nanotechnology and microtechnology – and the cutting-edge research and development being conducted at CNSE's state-of-the-art Albany NanoTech complex.
The show features interviews with leading elected officials and high-tech executives, including many from the more than 250 global companies that have R&D partnerships with CNSE. In addition, FOX23 anchor Ann Hughes presents weekly segments that demonstrate the growing impact of nanotechnology on the lives of consumers and a host of industries; FOX23 anchor John Gray provides weekly news updates tracking regional and worldwide developments in nanotechnology; and, members of CNSE's world-class faculty offer an inside look at nanotechnology-related science and research.
"NanoNow" is produced and hosted by Steve Janack, CNSE's Assistant Vice President for Marketing and Communications and Director of Communications Services, who previously spent 15 years in radio and television news as a reporter, anchor and news director and, most recently, hosted the television program "Tech Valley Report," in which he interviewed dozens of technology leaders.
