“Lessons Learned: How to be a Successful Energy Business” is the topic of the Tech Valley Energy Forum, to be presented by New Energy New York (“NENY”) and the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (“CNSE”) of the University at Albany on Monday, October 30 at 4 p.m. at CNSE’s Albany NanoTech complex.
More than 100 energy technology executives representing all sectors of the industry have pre-registered to attend the event, the seventh in a continuing series of forums designed to introduce Tech Valley organizations to opportunities, issues and challenges in the energy industry. Past forums have been extremely successful at facilitating thoughtful discussion on all aspects of alternative energy, from financing projects to emerging technology and research.
NENY Chair William Acker will moderate a panel discussion that will include Juan Becerra, vice president of business development at MTI MicroFuel Cells; Sanjay Correa, director of energy and propulsion technologies at General Electric Global Research; and, Philip Pellegrino, president of SuperPower.
The panel discussion will run from 4 to 4:45 p.m. in the John J. Sullivan Auditorium in CNSE’s CESTM building, followed by a cocktail reception.
