When Steve Janack, host of Time Warner Cable's Tech Valley Report, left the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce for the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany, his television show ceased.
But he returned a few weeks ago with a new one, Nano Now, which airs Sunday mornings on Fox 23.
Meanwhile, another weekly show, co-hosted by Kelly Lovell of the Center for Economic Growth and Jack Aernecke of WRGB Ch. 6, went off the air last summer.
But former Albany-Colonie Chamber President Wally Altes, who coined the term Tech Valley, now has his own show, on WMHT, called The Bottom Line.
So the Capital Region is back to two local shows focusing on technology and the economy.
Janack touts the fact that you can view his show online if you miss the 10:30 a.m. Sunday broadcast, download it as a podcast or even find it at iTunes.
Altes' show, meanwhile, has some technical glitches to work out. When The Buzz clicked on the WMHT Web site link for information about the upcoming show, it took us to the May 22 episode, on the topic of Job Burnout.
