Mr. Johnson has been involved in the evaluation, design and implementation of electric markets at the NYISO for 9 years and has had the opportunity to hold a number of different positions in Market Monitoring, Operations, and Project and Product Management. His current responsibilities include the evaluation and evolution of the electric energy, reserves and regulation markets to achieve improved efficiencies, incorporate desired market capabilities and address regulatory needs. Mr. Johnson has been involved in several projects at the NYISO, from integrating renewable technologies into the marketplace, working with new storage and generation technologies, enhancing interregional trade, and general market efficiency gains. Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor and of Arts degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.
