Mary T. Murphy has been with EFP Rotenberg LLP (EFPR) since 2003. She manages a wide variety of small business clients; tax credit reviews, other compliance issues, and provides supervision and training for staff on procedures and other technical issues. Mary has acquired experience in numerous industries including high technology companies, engineering, manufacturing, distribution and professional service engagements which include regulatory compliance, business strategies and incentives, grant opportunities and support services. Mary also has several years experience in auditing and accountings services at EFPR.
In addition to delivering high level client service, Mary plays a primary role in on EFPR's Emerging Technology Team. She is actively involved in educational and professional events throughout the community.
Mary graduated summa cum laude from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2003. She also received recognitions as a 2003 William McGowan Scholar, RIT Outstanding Scholar, Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi Member. She served as President of the NYSSCPA for the 2008-2009 fiscal years. She has served numerous volunteer positions and is currently serving as Operations and Information Budget Chair for the Monroe County BOCES2 Foundation. She is a frequently requested speaker for both professional and public arenas.
