David Veniskey is a partner at EFP Rotenberg, LLP and has been with the firm since 1984. He oversees a wide variety of engagements at the firm, and provides internal resources in guidance on technical issues. Dave has acquired experience in numerous industries including high technology, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, construction and professional services. Service areas that Dave works in include individual and business tax compliance, business advisory services, estate and trust planning and administration, business tax and investment incentives, strategic planning and, merger and acquisition related services.
Dave's experiences have made him a sought after expert in a dynamic range of business and individual tax engagements. As an expert in the tax field he has given many lectures on numerous subject matters including topics such as Entity Planning and Structure, Tax Planning with Federal and State Tax Credits, Estate Planning, Trust Taxation and a variety of other tax planning topics.
In addition to delivering high level client service, Dave plays a primary role in EFP Rotenberg's Emerging Technology Team and as the group's founder is a resource in providing strategic direction. Dave is actively involved in educational and professional events throughout the community.
Dave graduated from St. John Fisher College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1980. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and its State level Estate Planning Committee. Dave currently serves as the President of the Estate Planning Council of Rochester.
