Philip Darcy Environmental and Energy Integrated Product Team Leader Benet Laboratories
Philip Darcy attended SUNY Cobleskill in 1979 and graduated from SUNY Utica-Rome in 1983 with a BSME degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. From 1985-1989 Phil worked for the 637 Class of Nuclear Submarine Planning Yard as an on-site representative at the overhaul facilities. In 1989-2001, Phil transitioned to the Watervliet Arsenal in Watervliet, New York in the Advance Technical Group for manufacturing technology and cannon production. During this assignment, Phil accepted responsibilities as the Environmental Pollution Prevention Coordinator where he inserted pollution prevention technology at the Watervliet Arsenal. Mr. Darcy later became the ESTCP Program Manager for sodium hydroxide recycling and waste acid detoxification/reclamation for the Department of Defense (DoD)wide systems. From 2004- date, Mr. Darcy assumes full responsibilities as Integrated Product Team Leader for Energy and the Environment working on DoD wide environmental programs including biowaste conversion to bioenergy.
