As chief strategy officer and founder of CPower, Mike Gordon is responsible for identifying strategic alliances, building the firm's vision of how energy markets should be structured, and creating the new products and services within these markets. Mike founded CPower in 2001. Mike is a 24-year veteran of the energy industry having built several profit- and non-profit businesses that have saved buyers more than $400 million through aggregated purchase of commodities. Beyond creating market makers in the demand response sale of capacity and energy, Mike has also written and delivered energy curricula, listening and critical analysis curricula, and environmental responsibility curricula to more than 200 schools, national educational campaigns, and the central New York City Department of Education. Mike earned a generalist BA from the State University of New York at Binghamton, a generalist MPA from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
