Richard Eppley leads Guggenheim's Energy Funding Group, bringing nearly 40 years of experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, and Banking to the enterprise.  Prior to joining Guggenheim, Dick served as a consultant to the Department of Energy, Bonneville Power Administration, where he designed the bidding system and award criteria for financing Federal interagency energy conservation projects. He served on the Department of Energy Steering Committee for Reduction of Financing Costs for Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC's) He has advised numerous institutional investors regarding structured financing of energy projects. Earlier, he held various executive positions at JP Morgan. 

Dick is a member of the Federal Utility Partnership Working Group; a founding director of the International Facilities Management Association, and a previous owner-member of the Real Estate board of New York. He received both a B.B.A, and an M.B.A. (cum laude) degree in Finance from the University of Michigan.
