Overview New Energy New York and the Energy & Environmental Technology Applications Center (E2TAC) at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) hosted the Fourth Annual New Energy Symposium July 8-9, 2009. Over 400 people participated over 2 days. The event was held at the New York Academy of Science's premier office space at the World Trade Center in New York City, NY. The 2009 NES featured the Clean Energy Investment Presentations, where 21 of the hottest emerging cleantech start-ups were given an opportunity to showcase their revolutionary technology to an audience of regional and national VCs, private investors, corporate VCs, Investment bankers & federal executives. The top three presentations were awarded trophies and $1,500 each to use for travel to the NREL Industry Growth Forum in November The awardees also were provided a waived application fee for the national-level Growth Forum and will receive mentoring services to help increase their chances for selection For more information, please click here
