James Volk Business Development Manager Shell Hydrogen, LLC
Jim joined Houston-based Shell Hydrogen in 2006 as North American Business Development Manager within Shell Hydrogen's global business.
Established in 1999 to pursue and develop business opportunities related to hydrogen fuel and fuel cells, Shell Hydrogen is part of Shell Renewables, Hydrogen and CO2, one of five core businesses of the Shell Group.
Prior to joining Shell, Jim worked in business development for Praxair, Inc. and was responsible for new business development for hydrogen fuel and fuel-cell related markets, helium and rare gases as well as several global energy business development opportunities.
Jim started his career with Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. and has held various engineering, operations and management positions related to power generation.
Jim has over 25 years of energy-related engineering, management and business experience and received his BS in Chemical Engineering, MS in Environmental Engineering and Executive MBA all from The State University of New York at Buffalo.
