Nicholas Mesiti is a partner at the Intellectual Property law firm of Heslin Rothenberg Farley & Mesiti where he is a member of the firms Cleantech practice group. He counsels clients in various intellectual property areas including providing opinions relating to the potential infringement, enforceability and validity of intellectual property; the management of intellectual property portfolios; intellectual property due diligence; and the procurement, enforcement and/or defense of intellectual property rights. Mr. Mesiti has served as lead trial and appellate counsel in a number of successful intellectual property law cases including complex patent infringement cases. Mr. Mesiti's cases have involved technologies and products such as environmental and energy systems, power generation systems, fuel additives, combustion engine technologies, fuel cells and other cleantech technologies. Mr. Mesiti graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. He acquired his law degree from Albany Law School. Mr. Mesiti is admitted to the bar in New York, and before numerous U.S. District and Appellate Courts. He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
