    Area Alarm Controller Coordinator
   

The Research Foundation of SUNY, a private, not-for-profit organization managing sponsored program activity for the University at Albany, seeks applicants for the position of Area Alarm Controller Coordinator (ACC) reporting to the CNSE Manager of Equipment Engineering.  The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the site's Area Alarm Controller System based on Modicon Momentum PLCs with Magelis touch screens, Concept automation software, and Intellution iFIX HMI & SCADA software .  This will include management and monitoring of existing systems and any required expansion.  This is a critical life safety system consisting of ACC installation/reconfiguration subcontracts and overseeing all ACC installations and reconfigurations throughout CNSE.

    Process Operator
    The Research Foundation of SUNY, a private, not-for-profit organization managing sponsored program activity for the University at Albany, College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CSNE, http://cnse.albany.edu/) is seeking applicants for the position of Process Operator (PO) to work in its state-of-the-art 300mm semiconductor development facilities. A successful applicant will support the processing and movement of wafers through the various clean rooms and equipment. A variety of shifts, including a shift deferential, are available.

    Administrative Assistant
    The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) at the University at Albany seeks applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant.  This position will serve on an administrative team supporting the programmatic and administrative activities of the College. Incumbent will report to the Director of Support Services for the College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering.
    Safety Officer
   

The Safety Officer I position at the College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering's complex (a 24/7 operation) provides communications desk and roving security patrol duty functions in maintenance of safety and security.  The position is responsible for the monitoring and operation of computerized security and life-safety systems and electronic alarms to include fire, life-safety, gas alarms, building management, access control and camera security systems, and to effect appropriate notification of emergency response agencies (fire, police, ambulance, etc.) and facility resources given information received; coordinates emergency and business related telephone, radio, pager communications; provides for the documentation of incidents; provides visitor services to include entry processing; performs security patrols of facility exterior and interior pursuant to requirements; responds to facility incidents using defined policy and procedure; provides for parking enforcement and special event support. 

    Safety Officer II
    The Safety Officer II position at the College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering's complex (a 24/7 operation) provides communications desk and roving security patrol duty functions in maintenance of safety and security and is identified as a senior officer possessing a minimum of two years of satisfactory CNSE service. The position is responsible for the monitoring and operation of computerized security and life-safety systems and electronic alarms to include fire, life-safety, gas alarms, building management, access control and camera security systems, and to effect appropriate notification of emergency response agencies (fire, police, ambulance, etc.) and facility resources given information received; coordinates emergency and business related telephone, radio, pager communications; provides for the documentation of incidents; provides visitor services to include entry processing; performs security patrols of facility exterior and interior pursuant to requirements; responds to facility incidents using defined policy and procedure; provides for parking enforcement and special event support. The Safety Officer II is responsible for operational or procedural decision making on the shift in the absence of the Assistant Safety Supervisor or Safety Supervisor.

The position is intended to support CMOS-nano hybrid IC by optimization, algorithm design, and simulation in the CAD field.     Front-End Process Integration Manager
    The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CSNE) is seeking applicants for the position of front-end process integration manager to work in its 300mm semiconductor development facilities. The successful applicant will manage a group of front-end integration engineers and work closely with engineering to develop and implement 32nm and beyond Front-End semiconductor process technologies.
    IT Administrator
    The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for laptops, desktops, servers, network and infrastructure support in a diverse and complex customer environment.  Under general supervision, monitors and maintains the server systems including storage area networks (SANS) and direct attached storage (DAS) on a day to day basis including all backups; configures network servers including installation of network and workstation operating systems; upgrading hardware and software as necessary, troubleshooting and repair of network and server hardware and software issues; implements end user network services; assists with security access to the network; reports on installation and maintenance of networks, servers, software, devices and user services; arranges necessary repair of hardware and/or software; provides hardware/software and documentation to users as needed; runs system reports; maintains up-to-date technical knowledge of Information Technology systems and methodologies. Knowledge and troubleshooting of UNIX and Linux a plus. Reports to the IT Manager.
