  5. Leadership Tech Valley

    The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) will host the 2013 class of Leadership Tech Valley on Thursday, June 6. The session will feature a presentation by CNSE Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Alain E. Kaloyeros and a tour of CNSE’s Albany NanoTech Complex.

    Leadership Tech Valley, a shared initiative of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Schenectady County, is a multi-week program that offers participants an inside look at some of the area’s most innovative organizations, as well as opportunities to enhance their professional networks .

  9. CNSE Blood Drive

    The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) is partnering with the American Red Cross for the fifth annual CNSE Blood Drive on Tuesday, July 2.

    Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Nearly 14 million units of red blood cells are used annually for blood transfusions. On any given day, about 38,000 units of red blood cells are needed to treat accident victims, children and adults undergoing surgery, and patients receiving treatment for cancer and other diseases.
