The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) of the University at Albany held a month-long celebration throughout November showcasing the exciting world of nanotechnology and the global leadership of CNSE in the most important science of the 21st century.

CNSE Community Lecture Series presents Dr. John Elter

Attendees explored the idea of using nature as a model in science as Dr. John Elter, Executive Director of CNSE's Center for Sustainable Ecosystem Nanotechnologies, discussed biomimicry.

TEDxAlbany presented a day of information, inspiration, and entertainment including a presentation from CNSE Head and Professor of Nanoeconomics Dr. Edward Cupoli that delved into the changing nature of innovation.

The 2nd Annual CNSE NanoArt Exhibit, presented in collaboration with the NanoGraduate Student Organization (Nano GSO) and the UAlbany Fine Arts department, featured unique and exciting nanoart created by CNSE students and faculty, and UAlbany Art graduate students.

Visitors at seven of the Capital District YMCA branches experienced nanotechnology, a science that is driving our technological future and the future of our region, with hands-on activities led by CNSE professors.
