During their March visit, students enrolled in the NanoHigh Program got the opportunity to work in one of CNSE's undergraduate laboratories with Dr. Susan Sharfstein and her team to discover the exciting field of electrochemistry.
During this lab experiment students learned the basic principles of dye sensitized solar cells and had a chance to make one and test it to see how it performs in various light illuminations.
NanoHigh is a partnership between CNSE and the City School District of Albany that provides Albany High School students with unique opportunities to explore the emerging science of nanotechnology.
