The Wall Street Journal: Albany intersection to open after $18M rebuild

ALBANY, N.Y. — A key intersection near the University at Albany-SUNY is set to open Monday after an $18 million reconstruction project.

The state transportation department says they've wrapped up work at the intersection of Fuller Road and Washington Avenue Extension.

The goal was to reduce traffic congestion in the area where the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering is growing quickly, with its Albany NanoTech Complex in the midst of a $366 million expansion.
