The Business Review: Nano exhibit centerpiece of The Children’s Museum of Science and Technology’s re-opening celebration

The Children’s Museum of Science and Technology, located in the Rensselaer Technology Park in North Greenbush, celebrates its grand re-opening Oct. 13 with a new Nano exhibit.

The event begins at 10:30 a.m.

The museum closed last month to add classroom space to meet increased demands and prepare for a new nanotechnology exhibit, as well as to undergo annual maintenance.

University at Albany’s College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering partnered with the Children's Museum on the exhibit. The fully interactive Nano exhibit includes hands-on stations and activities where visitors are able to build a giant carbon nanotube or spin disks to compare the effects of static electricity and gravity.
