Observer-Dispatch: For 10 years, Genesis Group focuses on positive

UTICA - Mohawk Valley community leaders gathered at Hotel Utica on Wednesday evening to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Genesis Group, a local nonprofit that organizes frequent civic and educational events.

The sold-out dinner attracted 225 guests, many of whom came to hear Dr. Alain Kaloyeros give his keynote address, "The Nanotechnology Revolution: Driving an Educational and Economic Renaissance in Upstate New York." Kaloyeros is professor, senior vice president and CEO of the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany

Genesis Executive Director Raymond Durso Jr. said Kaloyeros' presence was a highlight of the evening. Full Article
