Turnout was strong at a Job Fair held today by the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering ("CNSE") of the University at Albany - the fourth such event to be held at CNSE in just over two years.
The Job Fair was designed to assist in recruiting qualified candidates for new engineering positions that will play a critical role in expanding a variety of leading-edge programs in nanoelectronics research and development.
Representatives from CNSE and its global corporate partners conducted initial interviews among candidates for the Process Integration and Process Engineering positions, which have annual salaries that range from $70,000 to over $120,000.
The new positions will focus on development and implementation of a host of process technologies involving 32 nm and beyond, including lithography, etch, thin films, chemical mechanical planarization ("CMP"), physical vapor deposition ("PVD"), chemical vapor deposition ("CVD"), electroplating and metrology, among others.
