SARATOGA SPRINGS - Deep within the halls of Maple Avenue Middle School, a couple dozen students have been working on a new project that casts them as both entrepreneurs and craftsmen.
Seventh- and eighth-graders in the school's newly formed Design and Engineering Club have spent Wednesday afternoons since September measuring, sawing and drilling rough-cut pine to make blue-bird houses, which they plan to sell to the public for $7 each. Full Article
