The Nano Graduate Student Organization (NanoGSO) hosted WiTS: Women in Technology & Science roundtable event. WiTS is designed to inspire young women students to join the STEM fields. Through a panel discussion, WiTS acted as a platform where students & faculty of UAlbany can discuss and share their views on the role of women in science and technology.  The panelists for the event were the high achievers in their respective fields - Dr. Fatemeh Shahedipour Sandvik (CNSE, UAlbany), Dr. Danielle Merfeld (GE Research Center) and Dr. Tara Ruttley (NASA).
